Alternate Names
Dgt6; dim gamma-tubulin homolog; FAM29A; family with sequence similarity 29, member A; HAUS augmin-like complex subunit 6
Description (eCommerce)
HAUS6 is a subunit of the augmin complex. The augmin complex plays a role in microtubule attachment to the kinetochore and central spindle formation. HAUS6 may have a role in efficient chromosome congression and segregation by promoting microtubule-dependent microtubule amplification [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 54801)].
Description (Vector)
HAUS6 is a subunit of the augmin complex. The augmin complex plays a role in microtubule attachment to the kinetochore and central spindle formation. This protein may have a role in efficient chromosome congression and segregation by promoting microtubule-dependent microtubule amplification. Pseudogenes of this gene are located on chromosomes 7 and 20. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
