Description (eCommerce)
GNL3 (guanine nucleotide binding protein-like 3), also known as nucleostemin (NS), was identified as a protein highly expressed in stem cells and downregulated in differentiated cells.GNL3 has also been found to be highly expressed in some cancer cell lines, and may play an important role in the control of cell proliferation. GNL3 functions as a GTPase and functions in the processing of nucleolar pre-rRNA.
Description (Vector)
GNL3 may interact with p53 and may be involved in tumorigenesis. The encoded protein also appears to be important for stem cell proliferation. This protein is found in both the nucleus and nucleolus. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
