Description (Vector)
GABRB3 encodes a member of the ligand-gated ionic channel family. The encoded protein is one of at least 13 distinct subunits of a multisubunit chloride channel that serves as the receptor for gamma-aminobutyric acid, the major inhibitory transmitter of the nervous system. GABRB3 is located on the long arm of chromosome 15 in a cluster with two genes encoding related subunits of the family. Mutations in this gene may be associated with the pathogenesis of Angelman syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, and autism. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
