Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
C77407; Debt69; tim
Description (Vector)
Required for normal progression of S-phase. Involved in the circadian rhythm autoregulatory loop. Negatively regulates CLOCK-NPAS2/BMAL1-induced transactivation of PER1 possibly via translocation of PER1 into the nucleus. Promotes TIPIN nuclear localiZation. Involved in cell survival after DNA damage or replication stress. May be specifically required for the ATR-CHEK1 pathway in the replication checkpoint induced by hydroxyurea or ultraviolet light. May also play an important role in epithelial cell morphogenesis and formation of branching tubules.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
