Alternate Names
CTCL tumor antigen se14-3; CTCL-associated antigen se14-3; cutaneous T-cell lymphoma-associated antigen se14-3; predicted protein of HQ2893; PRKCBP1; PRO2893; protein kinase C-binding protein 1; RACK7; zinc finger MYND domain-containing protein 8
Description (eCommerce)
PRKCBP1 was identified in a screen for RACK (receptors for activated C-kinase) family members. RACK proteins function as anchors for activated protein kinase C (PKC) isoenzymes. PRKCBP1 contains one bromodomain, one MYND-type zinc finger, one PHD-type zinc finger, and one PWWP domain.
Description (Vector)
ZMYND8 is a receptor for activated C-kinase (RACK) protein. The encoded protein has been shown to bind in vitro to activated protein kinase C beta I. In addition, this protein is a cutaneous T-cell lymphoma-associated antigen. Finally, the protein contains a bromodomain and two zinc fingers, and is thought to be a transcriptional regulator. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
