Description (eCommerce)
Protein-tyrosine kinase 7 (PTK17) is a member of the receptor protein tyrosine kinase family of proteins that transduce extracellular signals across the cell membrane. PTK17 lacks detectable catalytic tyrosine kinase activity. It is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and plays a role in multiple cellular processes including polarity and adhesion [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5754)].
Description (Vector)
PTK7 encodes a member of the receptor protein tyrosine kinase family of proteins that transduce extracellular signals across the cell membrane. The encoded protein lacks detectable catalytic tyrosine kinase activity, is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway and plays a role in multiple cellular processes including polarity and adhesion. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
