Description (eCommerce)
BRCA1-interacting protein 1 (BRIP1) is a RecQ DNA helicase that associates with BRCA1 and functions in double-strand break repair and the maintenance of chromosomal stability. BRIP1 has been found to be deficient in Fanconi anemia (FA), a chromosomal instability syndrome associated with a strong predisposition to cancer.
Description (Vector)
BRIP1 is a member of the RecQ DEAH helicase family and interacts with the BRCT repeats of breast cancer, type 1 (BRCA1). The bound complex is important in the normal double-strand break repair function of breast cancer, type 1 (BRCA1). This gene may be a target of germline cancer-inducing mutations.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
