Alternate Names
adaptor-related protein complex 1 gamma subunit-binding protein 1; AP1 gamma subunit binding protein 1; AP1 subunit gamma-binding protein 1; AP1GBP1; gamma-synergin; synergin gamma; SYNG
Description (eCommerce)
Gamma-synergin interacts with the gamma subunit of AP1 clathrin-adaptor complex. The AP1 complex is located at the trans-Golgi network and associates specific proteins with clathrin-coated vesicles. Gamma-synergin may act to connect the AP1 complex to other proteins [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 11276)].
Description (Vector)
SYNRG encodes a protein that interacts with the gamma subunit of AP1 clathrin-adaptor complex. The AP1 complex is located at the trans-Golgi network and associates specific proteins with clathrin-coated vesicles. This encoded protein may act to connect the AP1 complex to other proteins. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been described for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
