Description (eCommerce)
GORAB is a member of the golgin family, a group of coiled-coil proteins localized to the Golgi. GORAB may function in the secretory pathway. GORAB localizes to the cytoplasm and was identified by interactions with the N-terminal kinase-like protein. It may function in mitosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 92344)].
Description (Vector)
GORAB encodes a member of the golgin family, a group of coiled-coil proteins localized to the Golgi. The encoded protein may function in the secretory pathway. The encoded protein, which also localizes to the cytoplasm, was identified by interactions with the N-terminal kinase-like protein, and thus it may function in mitosis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with geroderma osteodysplastica. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
