ELL-related RNA polymerase II, elongation factor; elongation factor RNA for polymerase II 2; elongation factor, RNA polymerase II, 2; metastatic renal cell carcinoma-associated transcript 1; MRCCAT1; RNA polymerase II elongation factor ELL2
Description (eCommerce)
ELL2 was identified as a homolog of the ELL (eleven-nineteen lysine-rich leukemia) gene, a frequent target for translocations in acute myeloid leukemia. ELL2 is an elongation factor that can increase the catalytic rate of RNA polymerase II transcription by suppressing transient pausing by the polymerase at multiple sites along the DNA.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
