ADV-262970
Ad-m-KLK7
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing Mouse Klk7 (kallikrein related-peptidase 7 (chymotryptic, stratum corneum)). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
Prss6; SCCE
Description (Vector)
KLK7 may catalyze the degradation of intercellular cohesive structures in the cornified layer of the skin in the continuous shedding of cells from the skin surface. Specific for amino acid residues with aromatic side chains in the P1 position. SCCE cleaves insulin B chain at '6-Leu- -Cys-7', '16-Tyr- -Leu-17', '25-Phe- -Tyr-26' and '26-Tyr- -Thr-27'. Could play a role in the activation of precursors to inflammatory cytokines.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
