Alternate Names
ANF1A2; HELIOS; ikaros family zinc finger protein 2; zinc finger DNA binding protein Helios; zinc finger protein Helios; zinc finger protein, subfamily 1A, 2 (Helios); ZNF1A2; ZNFN1A2
Description (eCommerce)
Helios is a member of the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins. Three members of this protein family (Ikaros, Aiolos and Helios) are hematopoietic-specific transcription factors involved in the regulation of lymphocyte development. Helios forms homo- or hetero-dimers with other Ikaros family members, and is thought to function predominantly in early hematopoietic development [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 22807)].
Description (Vector)
IKZF2 encodes a member of the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins. Three members of this protein family (Ikaros, Aiolos and Helios) are hematopoietic-specific transcription factors involved in the regulation of lymphocyte development. This protein forms homo- or hetero-dimers with other Ikaros family members, and is thought to function predominantly in early hematopoietic development. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene, but the biological validity of some variants has not been determined.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
