Description (eCommerce)
CD31 is a cell adhesion molecule expressed mainly in platelets, endothelial cells, and a subset of leukocytes. CD31 localizes to cell-cell junctions and functions as a signaling molecule involved in a variety of vascular-related processes such as angiogenesis, platelet function, and inflammation.
Description (Vector)
PECAM1 is found on the surface of platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and some types of T-cells, and makes up a large portion of endothelial cell intercellular junctions. The encoded protein is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is likely involved in leukocyte migration, angiogenesis, and integrin activation.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
