mouse APLP1 shRNA silencing Adenovirus
This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Aplp1.
shADV-252824
Ad-m-APLP1-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Aplp1 (amyloid beta (A4) precursor-like protein 1). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Description (Vector)
APLP1 may play a role in postsynaptic function. The C-terminal gamma-secretase processed fragment, ALID1, activates transcription activation through APBB1 (Fe65) binding (By similarity). Couples to JIP signal transduction through C-terminal binding. May interact with cellular G-protein signaling pathways. Can regulate neurite outgrowth through binding to components of the extracellular matrix such as heparin and collagen I|Function: The gamma-CTF peptide, C30, is a potent enhancer of neuronal apoptosis (By similarity).

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
