This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Acsm1.
shADV-251969
Ad-m-ACSM1-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Acsm1 (acyl-CoA synthetase medium-chain family member 1). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.

Alternate Names
Acas3; Bucs1; Macs
Description (Vector)
Has medium-chain fatty acid:CoA ligase activity with broad substrate specificity (in vitro). Acts on acids from C(4) to C(11) and on the corresponding 3-hydroxy- and 2,3- or 3,4-unsaturated acids (in vitro). Functions as GTP-dependent lipoate-activating enzyme that generates the substrate for lipoyltransferase (By similarity).

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
