Description (eCommerce)
REXO2 is a 3'-to-5' exoribonuclease specific for small oligoribonucleotides. It is active on small (primarily </=5 nucleotides in length) single-stranded RNA and DNA oligomers. It may have a role in cellular nucleotide recycling [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9Y3B8].
Description (Vector)
REXO2 encodes a 3'-to-5' exonuclease specific for small (primarily 5 nucleotides or less in length) single-stranded RNA and DNA oligomers. This protein may have a role in DNA repair, replication, and recombination, and in RNA processing and degradation. It may also be involved in resistance of human cells to UV-C-induced cell death through its role in the DNA repair process.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
