Description (eCommerce)
Activating signal co-integrator 2 (ASC2) functions as a hormone-dependent transcriptional coactivator in cooperation with nuclear receptors such as steroids, retinoids, thyroid hormone, vitamin D3 and prostanoids. ASC2 also interacts with basal transcription factors and may also influence gene expression through its association with histone modifiers. ASC2 has been identified as an amplified gene in breast and other human cancers.
Description (Vector)
NCOA6 is a transcriptional coactivator that can interact with nuclear hormone receptors to enhance their transcriptional activator functions. This protein has been shown to be involved in the hormone-dependent coactivation of several receptors, including prostanoid, retinoid, vitamin D3, thyroid hormone, and steroid receptors. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
