Ad-h-GATAD2A-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human GATAD2A (GATA zinc finger domain containing 2A). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
GATA zinc finger domain-containing protein 2A; Hp66alpha; p66alpha; transcriptional repressor p66-alpha
Description (eCommerce)
p66alpha and p66beta are human orthologs of the xenopus p66 subunit of the Mi-2/NuRD complex. The Mi-2/NuRD complex is a multi-subunit complex that mediates gene repression via processes involving chromatin remodeling and histone deacetylation. p66 alpha and beta were identified in a two-hybrid screen using the methyl-CpG-binding domain protein, MBD2, as bait. It has been demonstrated that p66alpha and p66beta mediate the interaction between MBD2 and histones.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
