Description (eCommerce)
FOXC2 (forkhead box protein C2) is a member of the Forkhead transcription factor family. It is critical to the development of lymphatic vasculture. Mutations in FOXC2 are responsible for lymphedema-distichiasis, a disease characterized by the obstruction of lymphatic drainage of the limbs and extra eyelashes (distichiasis).
Description (Vector)
FOXC2 belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct DNA-binding forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in the development of mesenchymal tissues.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
