Description (eCommerce)
Bcl6 is a zinc finger transcription factor and contains an N-terminal POZ domain. It acts as a sequence-specific repressor of transcription and has been shown to modulate the transcription of STAT-dependent IL-4 responses of B cells. Bcl6 can interact with a variety of POZ-containing proteins that function as transcription corepressors. Bcl6 is found to be frequently translocated and hypermutated in diffuse large-cell lymphoma (DLCL) and may be involved in the pathogenesis of DLCL. [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 604)].
Description (Vector)
BCL6 is a zinc finger transcription factor and contains an N-terminal POZ domain. This protein acts as a sequence-specific repressor of transcription, and has been shown to modulate the transcription of START-dependent IL-4 responses of B cells. This protein can interact with a variety of POZ-containing proteins that function as transcription corepressors. This gene is found to be frequently translocated and hypermutated in diffuse large-cell lymphoma (DLCL), and may be involved in the pathogenesis of DLCL. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
