This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human ATF7IP.
shADV-201629
Ad-h-ATF7IP-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human ATF7IP (activating transcription factor 7 interacting protein). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.

Alternate Names
activating transcription factor 7-interacting protein 1; AM; ATF7-interacting protein; ATFa-associated modulator; ATF-interacting protein; ATF-IP; hAM; MBD1-containing chromatin-associated factor 1; MCAF; MCAF1; p621
Description (eCommerce)
MBD1-Containing Chromatin-Associated Factor (MCAF) associates with methyl CpG-binding protein (MBD1) that functions to recruit methyltransferases such as SETDB1 to chromatin. MCAF is required for the transcriptional repression and heterochromatin formation mediated by MBD1 and SETDB1.
Description (Vector)
ATF7IP is a multifunctional nuclear protein that associates with heterochromatin. It can act as a transcriptional coactivator or corepressor depending upon its binding partners (summary by Liu et al., 2009 (PubMed 19106100)).(supplied by OMIM, Nov 2010)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
