Alternate Names
activation-inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule; AILIM; CD antigen CD278; CD278; CVID1; inducible costimulator; inducible T-cell costimulator; inducible T-cell co-stimulator
Description (eCommerce)
ICOS is a member of the CD28 and CTLA-4 cell-surface receptor family. It enhances all basic T-cell responses to a foreign antigen, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up-regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B-cells. ICOS is essential both for efficient interaction between T and B-cells and for normal antibody responses to T-cell dependent antigens. [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9Y6W8].
Description (Vector)
ICOS belongs to the CD28 and CTLA-4 cell-surface receptor family. It forms homodimers and plays an important role in cell-cell signaling, immune responses, and regulation of cell proliferation.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
