Alternate Names
C17orf1; C17orf1B; CLL-associated antigen KW-13; FHOD4; FMNL; formin-like protein 1; KW-13; leukocyte formin
Description (eCommerce)
Formin-like 1 (FMNL1) may play a role in the control of cell motility and survival of macrophages (By similarity). It plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization and is required in the cortical actin filament dynamics and cell shape [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/O95466].
Description (Vector)
FMNL1 encodes a formin-related protein. Formin-related proteins have been implicated in morphogenesis, cytokinesis, and cell polarity. An alternative splice variant has been described but its full length sequence has not been determined.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
