Alternate Names
CORD19; KIAA0998; SRC1 and TIF2 associated binding protein; SRC1 and TIF2-associated modulatory protein; STAMP; tubulin polyglutamylase TTLL5; tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 5; Tubulin--tyrosine ligase-like protein 5
Description (eCommerce)
SRC1 and TIF2 associated binding protein (STAMP) is a polyglutamylase which preferentially modifies alpha-tubulin. STAMP is involved in the side-chain initiation step of the polyglutamylation reaction rather than in the elongation step (By similarity). It is required for CCSAP localization to both spindle and cilia microtubules. STAMP increases the effects of NCOA2 in glucocorticoid receptor-mediated repression and induction and in androgen receptor-mediated induction [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q6EMB2].
Description (Vector)
TTLL5 encodes a member of the tubulin tyrosine ligase like protein family. This protein interacts with two glucocorticoid receptor coactivators, transcriptional intermediary factor 2 and steroid receptor coactivator 1. This protein may function as a coregulator of glucocorticoid receptor mediated gene induction and repression. This protein may also function as an alpha tubulin polyglutamylase.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
