Description (eCommerce)
Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7A (TTC7A) is a protein containing tetratricopeptide repeats. Mutations in the TTC7A gene disrupt intestinal development and can cause early onset inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal atresia [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 57217)].
Description (Vector)
The tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) domain is defined by a degenerate consensus sequence of 34 amino acids. TPR domain-containing proteins, such as TTC7A, have diverse functions in cell cycle control, protein transport, phosphate turnover, and protein trafficking or secretion, and they can act as chaperones or scaffolding proteins (White et al., 2005 (PubMed 15718100)).(supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
