Alternate Names
45 kDa Sin3-associated polypeptide; SAP45; SDS3; sin3 histone deacetylase corepressor complex component SDS3; sin3A-associated protein, 45kDa; suppressor of defective silencing 3 protein homolog
Description (eCommerce)
SDS3 (suppressor of defective silencing 3 protein homolog) is a component of the Sin3 histone deacetylase corepressor complex. In this complex SDS3 interacts with SIN3A to regulate gene expression via chromatin modification. Studies in mice have shown SDS3 to be important to genomic stability.
Description (Vector)
SDS3 is a subunit of the histone deacetylase (see HDAC1; MIM 601241)-dependent SIN3A (MIM 607776) corepressor complex (Fleischer et al., 2003 (PubMed 12724404)).(supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
