Description (eCommerce)
Pds5B is a cohesin interacting protein. Cohesin functions to hold sister chromatids together during meiosis and mitosis and ensures proper segregation of chromosomes. Pds5B may play a specific role in the stabilization and destabilization of cohesin-mediated cohesion. Pds5B expression has been demonstrated to be androgen-induced and mediate the androgen-induced proliferative arrest of human prostate cells.
Description (Vector)
PDS5B encodes a protein that interacts with the conserved protein complex termed cohesion. The cohesion complex holds together sister chromatids and facilitates accurate chromosome segregation during mitosis and meiosis. This protein is also a negative regulator of cell proliferation and may be a tumor-suppressor gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
