Description (eCommerce)
HEC1 (highly expressed in cancer 1) is a component of the kinetochore-associated NDC80 complex that is essential for maintaining kinetochore integrity, proper chromosome segregation, and spindle-checkpoint signaling. HEC1 has been shown to be required for the organization of kinetochore microtubule attachment sites.
Description (Vector)
NDC80 encodes a component of the NDC80 kinetochore complex. The encoded protein consists of an N-terminal microtubule binding domain and a C-terminal coiled-coiled domain that interacts with other components of the complex. This protein functions to organize and stabilize microtubule-kinetochore interactions and is required for proper chromosome segregation.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
