Description (eCommerce)
CAP-H is a subunit of the heteropentameric condensin I complex. Condensin participates in the condensation of chromosomes during cell division by facilitating positive DNA supercoiling and knotting by topoisomerase I and II and proper segregation of sister chromatids. CAP-H is a non-SMC regulatory subunit of the condensin complex that may have an important role in condensin’s ability to maintain structural integrity of centromeric heterochromatin during mitosis.
Description (Vector)
NCAPH encodes a member of the barr gene family and a regulatory subunit of the condensin complex. This complex is required for the conversion of interphase chromatin into condensed chromosomes. The protein encoded by this gene is associated with mitotic chromosomes, except during the early phase of chromosome condensation. During interphase, the protein has a distinct punctate nucleolar localization.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
