Description (eCommerce)
INPPL1 (Inositol Polyphosphate Phosphatase-Like Protein 1) is a phosphatidylinositol phosphatase that negatively regulates phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathways related to numerous cell activities. INPPL1 plays a role in PI3K-dependent insulin, macrophage colony-stimulating factor, and EGF signaling. INPPL1 is also involved in actin cytoskeletal remodeling, actin dynamics, and neuritogenesis. INPPL1 interacts with SHC1 (src-homology domain) to mediate EGFR signaling.
Description (Vector)
INPPL1 is an SH2-containing 5'-inositol phosphatase that is involved in the regulation of insulin function. The encoded protein also plays a role in the regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor turnover and actin remodelling. Additionally, this gene supports metastatic growth in breast cancer and is a valuable biomarker for breast cancer.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
