Alternate Names
DFNB106; epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 2; epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 8-related protein 2; EPS8-like protein 2; EPS8R2; EPS8-related protein 2
Description (eCommerce)
EPS8L2 (epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 2) bears significant similarity to eps8. Like eps8, EPS8L2 has been shown to interact with SOS-1, a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF), and activate its Rac-GEF activity. EPS8L2 localizes to PDGF-induced F-actin rich ruffles and plays a role in mediating receptor-tyrosine kinase activated actin remodeling.
Description (Vector)
EPS8L2 encodes a member of the EPS8 gene family. The encoded protein, like other members of the family, is thought to link growth factor stimulation to actin organization, generating functional redundancy in the pathways that regulate actin cytoskeletal remodeling.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
