Alternate Names
dmX-like protein 1; X-like 1 protein
Description (eCommerce)
DMXL1 is a member of the WD repeat superfamily of proteins, which have regulatory functions. It is expressed in many tissue types including several types of eye tissue, and it has been associated with ocular phenotypes. In addition, it is upregulated in cultured cells that overexpress growth factor independence 1B, a transcription factor that is essential for hematopoietic cell developmen [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 1657)].
Description (Vector)
DMXL1 is a member of a superfamily of WD repeat proteins. The function of this protein is not yet determined; however, other related family members perform functions involved in regulatory processes.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
