Description (eCommerce)
CKII beta (casein kinase II subunit beta) is the beta subunit of the heterotetrameric kinase, casein kinase II (CKII) which is composed of an alpha subunit, an alpha’ subunit, and two beta subunits. CKII localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus and is involved in signal transduction and cell cycle progression.
Description (Vector)
CSNK2B encodes the beta subunit of casein kinase II, a ubiquitous protein kinase which regulates metabolic pathways, signal transduction, transcription, translation, and replication. The enzyme is composed of three subunits, alpha, alpha prime and beta, which form a tetrameric holoenzyme. The alpha and alpha prime subunits are catalytic, while the beta subunit serves regulatory functions. The enzyme localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
