Description (eCommerce)
Cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 68 (CPSF68) is the 68 kDa subunit of the cleavage factor Im complex (CFIm). The CFIm is a heterodimer composed of a 25 kDa (CPSF5) subunit and either the 59 kDa (CPSF7) or 68 kDa (CPSF6) subunit and is essential to the first step of pre-mRNA 3’-end processing. CPSF68 bears an N-terminal RNA- recognition motif (RRM) that is necessary for binding CPS5.
Description (Vector)
CPSF6 is one subunit of a cleavage factor required for 3' RNA cleavage and polyadenylation processing. The interaction of the protein with the RNA is one of the earliest steps in the assembly of the 3' end processing complex and facilitates the recruitment of other processing factors. The cleavage factor complex is composed of four polypeptides. This gene encodes the 68kD subunit. It has a domain organization reminiscent of spliceosomal proteins.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
