Description (eCommerce)
Chromodomain-helicase-DNA-binding protein 1-like (CHD1L) is a DNA helicase which plays a role in chromatin-remodeling following DNA damage. CHD1L is targeted to sites of DNA damage through interaction with poly(ADP-ribose) and functions to regulate chromatin during DNA repair. It is able to catalyze nucleosome sliding in an ATP-dependent manner, and its helicase activity is strongly stimulated upon poly(ADP-ribose)-binding [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q86WJ1].
Description (Vector)
CHD1L encodes a DNA helicase protein involved in DNA repair. The protein converts ATP to add poly(ADP-ribose) as it regulates chromatin relaxation following DNA damage. Several alternatively spliced transcripts variants have been described for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
