Description (eCommerce)
Bcl11b is a zinc-finger transcription factor that is homologous to the proto-oncogene Bcl11a. Bcl11b functions in T-cell development, and as a tumor suppressor, plays a role in T-cell lymphoma pathogenesis. Bcl11b interacts with ARP1, SIRT1, and TFCOUP1 to modulate transcription.
Description (Vector)
BCL11B encodes a C2H2-type zinc finger protein and is closely related to BCL11A, a gene whose translocation may be associated with B-cell malignancies. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
