This is an AAV expressing shRNA for silencing of Human ATAD5.
shAAV-201610
AAV-h-ATAD5-shRNA
Ready-to-use AAV expressing shRNA for silencing of Human ATAD5 (ATPase family, AAA domain containing 5). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
ATPase family AAA domain-containing protein 5; C17orf41; chromosome fragility associated gene 1; chromosome fragility-associated gene 1 protein; ELG1; enhanced level of genomic instability 1 homolog; FRAG1
Description (eCommerce)
ATAD5/FRAG1 has been identified as a homolog of a subunit of RFC (replication factor C) and has been shown to be down-regulated in response to replicative stress. ATAD5/FRAG1 may play a role in the surveillance of DNA damage and the cell’s decision to survive or activate apoptosis.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
