Ad-HT Adenovirus Amplification Services:
Large Scale Amplification & CsCl Purification
This service is for customers who want to use recombinant adenovirus for in vivo studies, or just need really high-titered purified viruses.
we will infect ~4000cm2 of 293 cell monolayer through a series of amplification from viral stock you provide to us (or any adenovirus we have on our list). Once showing cytopathic effects, we harvest and lyse the cells to release the virus. The adenovirus will then be purified by centrifugation using two sequential cesium chloride gradients. The final product will be desalted, titered both spectrophotometrically for viral particles and plaque formation assay for PFU/IFU, and tested for sterility before shipment.
A final viral stock of approximately 5x1012 to 5x1013 viral particles (~5x1010-1x1012 PFU)* will be delivered to you. The entire process will take about 2-3 weeks.
Medium Scale Amplification & Titration
This service is for researchers who need the recombinant adenovirus for only in vitro studies and want a low cost amplification solution.
we will infect ~1000cm2 of HEK293 cell monolayer through a series of amplification from viral stock you provide to us (or any adenovirus we have on our list). Once showing cytopathic effects, we harvest and lyse the cells to release the virus. The final viral stock will be titered for PFU/IFU.
A final viral stock of approximately 3x1010-3x1011 PFU/IFU * will be delivered to you. The entire process will take about 2 weeks.
